Scott, grew up on Horse Creek. He grew up in the center of farm life. It was all he had ever known. Emmy however, did not grow up on a farm. She didn’t even grow up in Tennessee for that matter. She moved from Ohio to Tennessee when she was 20 years old. Scott being 8 years older than Emmy, one would ask, how did y’all meet!? Though Emmy did not grow up on a farm she loved agriculture and the idea of farm life. As a single mom she was attending college for a degree in agriculture. She was working on a farm in Sevierville during the time that they met. She met Scott where he works. Ever since the couple met they have been inseparable. They were married and already expecting their first child together in the first year. It has been almost five years now and they have 3 children (2 together) and worked very hard to get where they are.

Over the last five years they have transformed Horse Creek Farms into a place where people can gather for fun and educational activities related to farming and specifically to the dairy industry. This year they are excited to be opening their Creamery, Little Lou’s Creamery.
